9. Zach Johnson (756.477)

Those who just failed qualify and who are no doubt waiting anxiously on the Captain Tom Lehman’s two wildcard picks are:
11. John Rollins (685.000)
12. Stewart Cink (676.894)
13. Jerry Kelly (653.750)
14. Lucas Glover (641.376)

Tom Lehman will announce these two wildcard picks at 8AM today (21 August) and we will bring it to you here as soon as we get it. Congratulations to all who qualified and commiserations to those who just narrowly failed to qualify. There are a number of ‘unknowns’ in the shape of this US Ryder Cup team which will only add to excitement of the matches.

  2. […] The Ryder Cup is firmly within view now. The US Ryder Cup team is finalised (and the US Captain’s picks announced) and as we enter the last week of the European qualifying competitions the team is beginning to become clear.  This week see Olazabal re-entering the World Cup Points list putting the pressure back on McGinley who’s hanging on to the last place in the European Points list now that Montgomerie is also qualifying as top of the European Points list  (See this article for how this works).
