To Tom Lehman: Just a team idea.
Having taught college and making teams out of students in the same class, thus the same interest and subject focus, I found that team performance was better than single entity efforts. So, what if instead each player using his own caddy, they used one of the other players not playing that day who has a similar game. Thus they all get to read the greens and they all get to participate and learn from each other with regards of how to best play a whole. Leastwise, when a player goes out for the first time who did not play the first day, it would not really be his first time.
