Ryder Cup Park and Ride

NB: Please see the most recent Park and Ride post which shows the changed Ryder Cup park and ride facilities.  This map is no longer up to date.

Park and Ride

Everyone attending the Ryder Cup is advised that there is NO vehicular access to the event except through the Park and Ride facilities.

There are 2 park and ride facilities for the Ryder Cup:

– North Park and Ride at Weston Aerodrome

– South Park and Ride at PGA National Ireland at Johnstown

Click here or on the map to see where these facilities are located.

The Park and Ride facilities will operate daily from the 19th – 24th September 2006 from the hours of 05:00 to 21:00.

A tow away system will be in place to remove vehicles parked illegally around the area and a charge will be made for recovery.

Note there is NO pedestrian access to the K Club and you must use either the Park and Ride or the Rail Shuttle.

Having paid for a parking ticket for Palmerstown, I was issued with one for Westin.
As I am travelling from Cork I tried to contact the organisers but have received no reply.
Have heard rumours that this is not a once off.
Does any one know if park and ride will be available to pay on the day??
