Park 'n Ride is Moving

Park and Ride
Click here for a zoomed in view, note the new Park ‘n Ride facilities at pushpins 2 and 3.

Yep this is true albeit a little unbelievable. The southern park and ride facility for the Ryder Cup is moving. The park and ride facility which was previously located at Palmerstown House/PGA National Centre at Johnstown will no longer be in operation due to boggy conditions. Instead the new park ‘n ride facility will be located at the Punchestown Racecourse where the firm concourse can better withstand the inclement weather conditions. Full diversion signs are due to be in operation. Please note however that this will further lengthen the time it will take to reach the K Club by an estimated 30 minutes. In total you should allow up to two hours to reach the K Club from the new southern park and ride facility.
Further up to date traffic information is available on the AA’s website.

James you can no longer pre-book parking tickets so they are selling them at the gate for €20. Get there early!

    Anybody park in Punchestown today?

How long did you spend on the bus to the course and back?

Was it a pain in the butt?
